Ole Miss commit Mitchell Turner shuts down recruitment amid flip talk

Writing for Saturday Down South, the author reports that four-star defensive lineman Mitchell Turner has ended his recruitment and reaffirmed his pledge to Ole Miss after speculation he could flip following a visit to Alabama. Turner, rated the top prospect in Mississippi for the 2027 class, said he made the decision after talking with his family and thanked the coaches and programs that recruited him. The author notes the commitment keeps the Rebels ranked highly in the national recruiting standings, with a dozen four-star prospects in the class.
