LSU Lands Five-Star Point Guard Reese Alston

Writing for And The Valley Shook, the author reports that five-star point guard Reese Alston has committed to LSU and coach Will Wade. The blog notes that Alston, rated the top player in Texas and a top-five point guard in his class, joins King Gibson to form what it calls arguably the best incoming backcourt in the country. The author adds that pairing those two with Ahmad Hudson gives LSU one of the nation's strongest recruiting classes, and argues the commitment shows Wade raising the standard for the program.
